The project aims to create an enabling environment for the uptake of renewable energies and the creation of low-carbon energy communities in alpine territories through the deployment of micro-grids.

The Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes Energie-Environnement Regional Agency (AURA-EE) is the lead partner of the ALPGRIDS project and collaborates with the National Community of Rhône (CNR) the other French project partner, as well as ten other European organizations located in 5 countries in the Alpine region (Austria, Germany, Italy, Slovenia).
