ALPGRIDS is a project funded by the Interreg Alpine Space Programme led by AURA-EE. It aims at increasing the usage of renewable energy in the Alps. In remote areas, this objective can be supported by advanced energy systems such as microgrids. The total cost of the initiative is 1.88 million euros, of which 1.59 million comes from the European Cohesion Policy. Altogether, the project has 12 European partners.
