The European Committee of the Regions organises the European Summit of Regions and Cities in Marseille on 3-4 March 2022. The summit brings together local representatives from all across Europe to discuss the EU's future challenges. 

The 2022 edition will be organised in a hybrid format. In addition to participating on site, it is possible to take part in the sessions and activities online.

The summit agenda features roundtables and plenaries on topics such as: 

• Cohesion and recovery
• Societal challenges
• Territorial cooperation 
• European Democracy
• Youth engagement and European values

In addition to the sessions, the online platform of the summit will host a virtual fair. The virtual fair will be accessible between 18 February and 18 March.
