The Alpine region is particularly affected by climate change and thus also the Alpine water cycle. The Alpine countries, their regions and municipalities face the great challenge of securing the water supply for both nature and people. This more-than-ever crucial topic, will be at the centre of the EUSALP Water conference.

This conferece is the 2nd of a cycle of 3 events organised by the Swiss presidency of the European Strategy for the Alpine Region (EUSALP). It takes place on 16 June in Scuol, in the Swiss alps. 

As co-leader of EUSALP Action group on Energy, AURA-EE will be present in Scuol to present regional perpectives on water as an energy ressource,  use conflicts, and the role of local authorities in addressing the issue.

The next and last event of EUSALP Swiss Presidency will take place on the 1st of Septembre in Lugano (Switzerland) and will tackle mobility issues .
